Rikon is the largest fantasy and science fiction convention in Croatia and the region, which takes place in Rijeka, a city with a rich history of culture and industry.

This year, from October 11 to 13, 2024, Rikon takes place in the Exportdrvo venue, with the impressive area of more than 6,000 square meters!

The rich program includes international competitions, panels, lectures, games, quizzes, children's program and much more! Rikon is a festival that gathers fans of fantasy, science, pop culture and gaming from all over Croatia and beyond. The most of Rikon's audience consists of youth: genZ and millennials, who value creativity, innovation, inclusivity and togetherness.

Rikon is more than just a festival. It is a place where creative minds meet, inspire each other and create unforgettable memories.

Rikon's audience has no age limits, it is a fun event for all generations, but in the preparation of the program we pay special attention to young audience. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in workshops, keynotes and panels, various presentations, tournaments and competitions. They can try various challenges, quizzes, activations or search engines. The all-day program includes various interactive zones where visitors can have fun - boardgame zone, gaming and tournaments, STEM and robotics, Airsoft arena, and much more! Distinguished guests and program participants from Croatia and abroad ensure a meaningful program filled with educational, inspiring and creative spirit.

Rikon 2020 was the host of the European science fiction convention Eurocon and had the special name Futuricon. Futuricon was the third Eurocon held in Croatia (after 1986 and 2012) and the first Eurocon whose program was held mostly online.

The goals of Rikon
